1. Services Offered

Native Wellness provides virtual wellness consulting and coaching services rooted in nutrition and functional medicine. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Nutrition consulting and coaching

  • Functional nutrition and lab test education

  • Nutrigenomic testing and interpretation (e.g., DNA)

  • GI-MAP and NutraEval interpretation

  • Group coaching and one-on-one consulting

  • Cooking and wellness workshops (occasionally in person)

  • Supplement recommendations via Fullscript

All services are offered virtually unless otherwise noted for in-person workshops.

2. Scope of Practice

All services provided by Native Wellness are within the scope of practice of a licensed and certified healthcare provider (Julianne Penner, PA, RD, MS in Nutrition and Functional Medicine). Recommendations are personalized but are not intended to replace your relationship with a licensed primary care physician (PCP).

3. Informed Consent

By working with Native Wellness, you agree to receive wellness services as described above. These may include nutrition guidance, supplement suggestions, interpretation of lab results, and lifestyle recommendations. Participation is entirely voluntary.

You understand that these services:

  • Do not diagnose, treat, or cure any disease

  • Are educational and lifestyle-based in nature

  • Require your active participation for best results

  • May be adjusted or referred out if not within scope

You may also be referred to third-party labs (such as DUTCH, Rupa, or Diagnostic Solutions) or platforms (Fullscript, Practice Better) for testing or supplement delivery. These entities are governed by their own privacy and terms.

4. Health Disclaimer

Native Wellness does not guarantee specific results. Any outcomes discussed are based on previous client experiences or clinical insights but are not promises or guarantees of your results. All recommendations should be discussed with your healthcare provider before implementing, especially if you are pregnant, taking medications, or managing a chronic illness.

5. No Legal or Tax Advice

Native Wellness does not provide legal or tax advice. If any financial or legal concerns arise in the course of conversation (e.g., regarding health insurance, business write-offs), you agree to seek the appropriate licensed professionals.

6. Refund & Cancellation Policy

Refunds are not guaranteed and are provided at the sole discretion of Native Wellness. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a full service charge.

7. Updates to Policies

This policy may be updated at any time and will apply to all past and current clients. The most recent version will be posted on the Native Wellness website. Clients may request a copy by email.
